Abstract Ecoboulevard Casablanca is a project of urban transformation of autoroute N1 only decicated to cars and lorries, to an urban ecological boulevard mainly dedicated to public transport, cycling and pedestrians, green aereas, new low carbon developpments....Nowadays N1 is a real fracture between the north west part of casablanca, about 2,5 million inhabitants, and the south est, about 1,5 million ihbt; N1 is also an economical & social frontier between the good income population and the poverty, N1 is pollution, heavy traffic, dangerous crossing; our objectif is to transform N1 in an urban area connecting the two parts of the city, creating opportunities based on public mobility, urban porosity, green and open areas, and high level quality of architecture and low carbon equipments.
