Abstract |
This paper focuses on how to make a detailed plan for the construction of eco-residence by using low-carbon technology under the background of low -carbon economy. In a broad sense, low-carbon technology has been extensively applied to the sectors and industries involving greenhouse gas emission, such as electric power, transportation, construction and metallurgy. In these fields, low-carbon technology plays an effective role in saving energy and raising energy efficiency. Great efforts and numerous attempts have been made in China in creating eco-residence by using low-carbon technology. As a concentration of technologies running through the whole process of planning, architectural design and engineering management, and as an open system for purpose of solving the specific problems, low-carbon technology can absorb the conventional and regional technique instead of confinement to the high and modern-tech. Taking the eco-demonstration residential quarter of Dayou Garden in Dalian city as an example, this paper discusses and researches the methods to create eco-residence by using low-carbon technology. Dayou Garden£¨2005-2006£©has been awarded the title of national environment- friendly project, which is the highest award granted to the construction project for environmental protection and the one and only award among the national 10 key awards concerning real estate projects. Since the early construction, ¡°Dayou Garden¡± has adhered to the eco-development concept of ¡°Four saves and one protection¡±, namely: to save water, energy, land and materials and to protect environment. By doing this, Dayou Garden achieved the set objective of low-carbon emission. |
