Abstract |
This paper exposes the results of the work carried out in the C1 Energetic Efficiency Measure. Validated Activities to the Argentine Second National Communication to the Framework Convention of the United Nations about Climate Change. BIRF Project NTF1287/AR.
Propose: The committed activities included: the analysis of the energetic matrix by source for the period 2000/2004; the energy consumption diagnostic in the Residential, Commercial and Public and the Industrial sectors; the programs and energy efficiency projects analysis (EE) and the measurements and programs which, from the demand, were considered relevant as strategies to reduce the energy consumption and to obtain a reduction in the greenhouse gas emission effects (GGE).
Methodology: The aspects related to energetic saving in the residential sector are synthesized from the mitigation measurements proposed for the Greenhouse Effect Emissions (G.E.E.) produced by the energetic residential consumption. After analyzing each measure, we propose to develop the main ones.
In order to reduce the gas consumption, we have worked in alternatives which intervene in the improvement of housing envelope. For electric energy, the replacement of incandescent illumination equipment for low consumption equipment and the progressive substitution of refrigerators for tag unities were analyzed.
Results: The potentials results on the application of those measures were evaluated as well as its possible implementation. Finally, the participation of each measure in relation to the total saving is analyzed. |
